Aswekeepsearching’s Khwaab is now getting done heavily well.
Heavily, not just a metaphor, but also with the sound taking heavy turns as more than half of Pune’s Experimental Metal band Noiseware is working on this.
In addition to Gautam Deb and Bob Alex, the band has also roped in Adhiraj Singh for the recording duties at his Refractor Studio
The drums were recorded in That Studio in Mumbai while the bass was done at Refractor studio with Adhiraj. Also, Sarmah recorded the guitars at his BlueTree Studio in Ahmedabad.
The album is due this month.
The 11 track album was funded by the band’s gig earnings and a crowdfunding campaign taken over in September.
The band will head over to Russia on a five-date tour to promote Khwaab between October 16th and 25th with shows in St. Petersburg, Moscow,Kazan and Ekaterinburg.
The tour is put together by Russian record label and booking agency Flower Blossoms in the Space.Sarmah met the Festival promoter Danila Seliverstov, manager of Russian electro post rock band I Am Waiting For You Last Summer on an India tour.
“He’s the post-rock guy in Russia. He’d heard us even before the band came to India and felt we should spread our music.”
Henceforth, On their Russia Tour, AWKS will be supporting I Am Waiting For You Last Summer on their own tour and playing one headline show.
