One of South Africa’s finest post-rock bands, OhGod, are bringing their unique progressive sounds to their India tour starting 29th December.

OhGod stand unmatched in South Africa’s alternative scene with their signature sounds and fabulous performances. Having showcased their talent across major festivals and having won multiple SAMMA awards, OhGod, have always managed to give post-rock a new dimension. Formed back in 2013 by 3 seasoned musicians of Lane Evermore, Stefan, Pieter and Mark, independently released their debut EP, Forest Feud, last year. The multiple SAMMA award winners, who start their India Tour on the 29th December, will be playing 5 shows across the southern shores of the country.

The South African progressive post-rockers will be joined by Bangalore’s finest progressive rock outfit, Rainburn. The prog rockers will be taking stage for the first time after their 5 city nationwide series Progworks on Wheels back in October. The band formed back in 2011, consisting of Vats Iyengar on vocals and guitars, Ravi Nair on the bass guitar and backing vocals, Paraj Kumar Singh on guitars and Praveen Kumar on Drums have managed charm the fans with their album, Canvas Of Silence, which was featured on Classic Rock magazine’s Top 5 Prog Albums of 2015.


The Post-rock soundscape band hit the road with 2 more shows in Bangalore and another show in Chennai before performing at IIT-Chennai’s SAARANG Festival on the 7th of January.
